Steps to resolve:

The error below is a result of the Notes.Jar file being in the wrong location (or not installed) on your machine. It should be located in the following path under your notes directory:

jvm\lib\ext

For example, mine is in the following path

C:\Program Files\lotus\notes\jvm\lib\ext

Please try the steps below and let me know if this resolves your issue. If not, we can set-up some time to connect so I can review the settings on your computer.

Steps to Resolve:

1. Locate your Notes Directory (You can locate it by looking at the properties of the Desktop Shortcut)



2. Ensure that you have the following folder structure under your notes directory: jvm\lib\ext
-Just create the blank folders if they don't exist

3. Place the following file into the ext folder.
Notes.jar (search)
4. You may or may not need to restart Notes, but should just in case.
